MOSCOW, Russia – (September 9, 2013) Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) today announced its International® ProStar® truck is now available for purchase in Russia. Engineered in North America and adapted for use in Russia, the ProStar is on display this week at the Comtrans International Exposition for Commercial Vehicles in Moscow, Russia.

The ProStar offers fleets and drivers the efficient power of a big bore engine with lighter weight components to maximize payload. Its design and compacted graphite iron (CGI) block construction make it one of the lightest weight 13-liter engines in the industry. Available in a 6x4 application with 430 horsepower and 1,550 lb,-ft. of torque, the ProStar delivers excellent fuel economy and performance. Its aero nose design further increases fuel efficiency and offers an easy to service tilting hood.
