IC Bus to showcase CE Series school bus with gasoline-powered engine at STN Expo West

RENO, Nev. — July 14, 2026 — IC Bus, LLC (IC Bus), a leader in student transportation solutions, will display the IC Bus® CE Series school bus with the Cummins B6.7 Octane engine for the first time at STN Expo West.

The Cummins B6.7 Octane engine combines diesel-like performance with the convenience of gasoline fueling. This expands the CE Series offerings to now include gasoline, in addition to diesel and electric, and gives school bus fleets greater flexibility to choose the engine that best aligns with their unique operational needs.

“The safe and comfortable transportation of students is at the center of every decision we make at IC Bus,” said Charles Chilton, vice president and general manager, IC Bus. “Adding the Cummins B6.7 Octane engine to the CE Series gives school transportation fleets another option that delivers the performance and quality they expect from us."

The CE Series with the Cummins B6.7 Octane engine is available to order from IC Bus® dealers. Customers who have already placed an order will begin getting their buses this fall.
